Rocky Top Recovery

The Rocky Top Recovery Ambassadors are a team of students at theRocky Top Recovery Ambassadors Logo University of Tennessee, Knoxville, dedicated to supporting Volunteers in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. Through community building, campus programming, and advocacy, these students provide a supportive environment for students in recovery or interested in recovery.

The Rocky Top Recovery Ambassadors are currently recruiting students in active recovery from substance use to join the team!

Ambassadors are paid $15/hour for 10 hours per week. If you identify as a student in recovery and would like to apply, contact Jennifer Tourville, DNP, at jennifer.tourville@tennessee.edu or call (865) 804-4245.

Recovery Meetings

  • What: Weekly recovery meetings for students. These meetings are nondenominational and support all students in recovery. All are welcome.
  • When: Every Friday at 9:00pm

Rockin’ Night of Recovery

  • What: A concert to raise awareness and celebrate recovery. Featuring Wasted Major! This event is open to the public and food will be provided.
  • When: Wednesday, October 19th, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm

  • What: Book reading and signing by author Susan Packard.
  • When: Thursday, November 3rd, from 10:30am – 11:30am
