The Center for Health Education and Wellness empowers all Volunteers to thrive by cultivating personal and community well-being. We are dedicated to a community model that is embodied in the “VOLS HELP VOLS” commitment.

We are all Volunteers. We look out for each other.

CHEW acknowledges that health and wellness is multifaceted and aims to promote well-being across eight dimensions of wellness. We prioritize risk reduction and develop programming based on national research and data collected from our Volunteer community that address interpersonal wellness, alcohol and substance use, and general health and wellness.Image listing the eight dimensions of wellness
