Alcohol Education Program

The Alcohol Education Program (AEP) is a program students are typically sanctioned to complete upon receiving a citation from University Housing (Housing) or the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards (SCCS) for an alcohol violation. AEP is a brief prevention and intervention program facilitated by a staff member from the Center for Health Education & Wellness. The program utilizes motivational interviewing techniques, group discussions, and time for individual reflection. The purpose is to engage our students in a discussion about alcohol use, encourage a harm reduction model, provide safety information, and provide resources.

Students are welcome to volunteer to participate in the program.
