Volunteers Speak UP! RSVP (Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention) program includes information on consent, how to provide support to someone who has been sexually assaulted, and how to be an active bystander. The program includes a large role-play component where students discuss and act out active bystander skills. The RSVP program concludes with resources and how to promote a Vols Help Vols culture at UT and beyond.
Volunteers Speak UP! Alcohol Edition serves to address and reduce risks related to concerning drinking behavior, over-consumption of alcohol, and other alcohol-related injuries, deaths, or other incidents. The Alcohol Edition program includes information on how to recognize alcohol overdose/poisoning, care-taking skills when someone has alcohol poisoning or has overdosed, how to be an active bystander, and ways to Speak UP!
Volunteers Speak UP! FYS Edition is designed specifically for First-Year Studies students. It serves as an introductory overview to the full VSU programs.
Volunteers Speak UP! Fraternity Men is designed specifically for Greek men. The interactive discussion based program educates students on sexual assault and how to apply their fraternal values to being an active bystander. Students will share ways to intervene in situations where someone is in a potentially dangerous situation.
